VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT

This Volunteer Agreement (the "Agreement") is made between People for Urban and Rural Education ("PURE") and the individual signing up to volunteer for PUREathon (the "Volunteer") in connection with Volunteer's participation in PUREathon (the "Event").

• This Volunteer Agreement (the "Agreement") is made between People for Urban and Rural Education ("PURE") and the individual signing up to volunteer for PUREathon (the "Volunteer") in connection with Volunteer's participation in PUREathon (the "Event").
• Volunteer Services. Volunteer agrees to perform the duties and services assigned by PURE at the Event.
• Time Commitment. Volunteer agrees to arrive on time for their scheduled shift and to stay until their shift is completed. Volunteer understands that failure to do so may impact the success of the Event.
• Volunteer Status. Volunteer acknowledges that they are volunteering their services and will not receive any payment or other compensation in connection with their services.
• Code of Conduct. Volunteer agrees to follow the rules and regulations established by PURE, including but not limited to, treating all Event participants and other volunteers with respect and refraining from engaging in any conduct that could harm the reputation or success of the Event or PURE.
• Confidentiality. Volunteer agrees to keep all confidential and proprietary information about PURE and the Event confidential, both during and after the Event.
• Release and Waiver. Volunteer understands that their participation in the Event involves physical activity and assumes all risks associated with their participation. Volunteer agrees to release and hold harmless PURE, its officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, injuries, or expenses arising from their participation in the Event.
• Governing Law. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state where the Event is being held.
• Entire Agreement. This Agreement represents the entire understanding of the parties and supersedes all prior negotiations, discussions, and agreements between the parties.
• Modification. This Agreement may not be modified except in writing signed by both parties.
• Acknowledgment. Volunteer acknowledges that they have read and understand this Agreement, and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
